  3. wickets 1898-1930 - and also scored 39,802
  4. first-class runs. Playing for Yorkshire,
  5. Rhodes made a record 763 appearances in the
  6. county championship. He took 100 wickets in a
  7. season 23 times and completed the `double' of
  8. 1,000 runs and 100 wickets in a season 16
  9. times (both records). He played his 58th and
  10. final game for England, against the West
  11. Indies 1930, when he was 52 years old, the
